Sherry fights obesity stigma with compassionate, science-based care and patient education.

There are several misnomers surrounding obesity. Obesity is a complex, chronic disease that involves more than willpower alone. I chose to work in obesity medicine so I could educate patients, challenge stigma, and provide compassionate, science-based care. Seeing patients improve their health, confidence, and overall quality of life brings me joy and reinforces why this work matters so much.
